This week we had Lisa Jones joining us for the #rechangout. As is our format Alan Whitford asked the questions and Louis Welcomme (and later Mark Stephens) joined in with their own thoughts and questions. The full hangout and a summary can be seen on Louise's blog.
Next week sees our first Directors event of the year. These events are perfect for any recruitment business owner or Director who wants to ensure they have all the elements in place to take their business to the next level. This event's speakers are Darren Ryemill, Nick Robeson and Stephanie Asplin. Darren Ryemill will be talking about engaging your team for recruitment success, Nick Robeson talking about creating a successful niche and, having bought, built and sold businesses in this space, he'll be chatting about what he has learnt so far. Stephanie Asplin will be talking about her journey and the learnings from it.

Inspiration from Recruiters
Don’t call a potential client and tell them about the company you work for or your previous experience. Clients don’t care! You know that candidate who’s an ideal fit for their organisation? Tell the client about them! That’ll get their interest, and you talk about yourself later.
Don't forget you can send in your Inspiration or Confessions of a Recruiter; we'll publish the latter anonymously if you like and don't worry it doesn't need to be didactic!
If you’re having trouble attracting the best recruiters, this article provides plenty of hints and tips to aid you in your search. If you want further help and advice on this Lou has shared on her blog this week a powerful 1 hour new video, put together by Mike Walmsley, which contains some easy-to-implement strategies to source better recruiters.
