It's Sunday afternoon and I should be watching a Bond movie and dunking biscuits - but instead I'm pondering a blog I'm attempting to write.  The title I've been asked to write around is "What’s going to be big in 2018 for the recruitment industry?"   I honestly don't know where to start!!  Please can some of you share your thoughts to make this a whole lot easier..

Hi Louise - great topic to be writing about! Have a think about how the industry will need to adapt to recruit robots, specifically Robotic Process Automation (RPA), that could potentially replace people in the workplace. I work closely with a team that develops robots - each robot is hosted in a laptop, has a name, takes up a space on the desk/floor and generally works 24/7!

Hi Louise, some valid points here. I agree that engaging your workforce has to be a key priority in what is a challenging role, but also balancing the use of social media and traditional soft skills to develop relationships and finally, taking time to understand your clients industry challenges to establish how to better add value.

Bit late to the table on this but given the context how about something on how to get started and driving self motivation when you have to start from scratch?
