Note from the Editor

She won't thank me for saying this (but since she said it herself I think it's ok!), Louise has been involved in recruitment one way or another for 22 years now and has obviously seen many changes. Recently she's been in a reflective mood and wondering about the point of a recruitment agency and whether it has changed. She's been asking you all for your views over the last few weeks and summarises your thoughts in her blog "What is the Point of a Recruitment Agency?" this week. Whether you've only just started out in recruitment, or are considering carriage clocks, join in Louise's contemplation, have a read and add your thoughts.

Only one more week till the Recruitment Industry Conference. Bringing together the UK’s leading recruitment experts to cover a multitude of topics relevant to our sector; sales, technology, client development, candidate management, social media, standards and reputation. Each session will be a mixture of speaker lead learning and group led debate and discussion. Anyone within the recruitment sector is welcome. Tickets need to be booked in advance. Book soon, spaces are limited!
