Northern Ireland leading social recruitment in UK

"Recruiters in Northern Ireland post more jobs to Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook than their peers in England, Wales and Scotland. The findings come from Social Recruiting Activity in the UK, the latest social media recruiting report from recruitment software specialist Bullhorn. The report analyses more than 30,000 jobs posted to Bullhorn Reach by recruiters in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. It found that LinkedIn remains the most popular social network, with 60 per cent of all jobs posted to the network. Twitter came in second with 45 per cent, and Facebook third with 18 per cent. The report shows that the technology sector is most active in terms of social recruiting. Looking at the results from a network-by-network perspective sees LinkedIn used most by telecommunications recruiters (88 per cent of all associated jobs posted to network); Twitter by travel recruiters (76 per cent of all associated jobs posted to network); and Facebook by restaurant industry recruiters (66 per cent of all associated jobs posted to network).
