I really don't understand why, in this social media aware time, anyone would send LinkedIn requests without at least one of the following: A personal note A photo on their profile A job title that makes a modicum of sense Is there any chance LinkedIn could add a "numpty" button to the yes/no options?
LinkedIn would have been better with Numpty buttons but very less people respond to the personal notes 📝
Thanks a lot , for making us to realise this:) , yes i do some times , but i do send them a thanks for acceptance, but henceforth i would defiantly will remember this before sending any linked- in connection request :)
So true - I reject 99.9% of requests (the balance usually coming in during a call with the requestor) because they're lazy.
Sorry
Totally agree....I wrote an article on this a few years ago - https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/simple-introduction-goes-long-way-joe-astill

Louise I love this! Thanks!
Agree Louise, the mobile version needs amending though because there's no option to add a note!

6yGood post. I don't generally connect to anyone who does not show a photo and or has little detailed job description and job history. Some don't show photos (in my field - brand protection/anti-counterfeiting - this is understood) but at least give a good outline of your experience and background.
