Note from the Editor
Recruitment expert Roy Ripper has just bought out a new book called Recruitment Blueprint: Control the deal and make more placements. Louise is reading a copy and already really enjoying it. She will no doubt blog about it soon. We're letting you know now as it's free as a kindle download until end of play tomorrow (Tuesday 29th)

Always happy to share a bit of good news, one of our sponsors Flo is a year old this month and Managing Director, Craig Aston, has written this celebratory blog One Year in Business.

Weekly Tips
Inspiration from recruiters

Four Important Concepts for Recruiters; #3 Listening

  • 80% of your job is listening
  • Never interrupt candidates and clients
  • Tune into the tone of voice, hidden objections
  • When the person on the other end of the phone is talking, don’t be thinking of what you’re going to say next - Listen to what he or she is saying
  • Don’t feed answers
  • If you don’t understand something, have them explain it
  • If you miss something, have them repeat it
  • Summarise your understanding

Provided by Roy Ripper of www.recruitmentmasterminds.com.  Part one is in issue 641, part two is in issue 643 and part four will be in two week’s time
