Recruiters Inspiration - Whose 'shoes' should you wear?
A common mistake all sales people make (whether recruitment consultants or in any other industry) when talking to or visiting a client is wearing the wrong 'shoes'. Our heads are filled with what we are trying to achieve, what points we want to get across, in summary what is important to us. When planning any conversation and setting the objective it is most important to view it from the client's perpective. If you start with understanding what is important for them and then tailor your approach with that in mind, you are far more likely to find success.
I hope you all have a productive and successful 2014

Don't forget you can send in your Inspiration or Confessions of a Recruiter; we'll publish the latter anonymously if you like and don't worry it doesn't need to be didactic!
