A note from the editor
Whilst trawling the recruitment web this week for interesting stories to share with you I came across a handy sounding webinar being run by Lisa Jones. The theme of the webinar is around getting the most out of your investment in Twitter. You can register for the webinar here.

Very unintentionally (given our Recruitment Technology Showcase event is on this week), we have a technology heavy set of articles this week. They're well worth a read, it's interesting to think how different the recruitment industry could be today without technology. Have a look at the articles and do let us know what you think.

Talking of technology we may have mentioned that our event is coming up this week (not often, I know!) but I thought I'd take a second to mention that it's not all about meeting with new suppliers. We also have a fantastic opening presentation by Dan Macguire from Cube 19 talking about what recruiters should be looking for in technology, what you need to know and do to make your business successful in this changing market and he may also give a few tips on how to build a million pound organisation. In the afternoon, we have several brilliant workshop sessions such as, "Back door placements (aka Clients Stealing Candidates!)" hosted by Lisa Jones and "Employer branding; what place does it have in agency recruitment?" hosted by Ravi Edwards from Glassdoor. You can find out more information on the workshops here. The event is this Thursday in London and best of all it's free*! Register here.
